Apply your own ground, experiment with your own wet or dry mounting... or some artists prefer painting directly onto its ultra-smooth, non-absorbent face.  Simply sand lightly, degrease with alcohol or thinner, and paint, prime, or mount directly to its surface.

For years now, conservators have lauded ACM panel products.  Non hygroscopic, this panel eliminates the inevitable cracking of stretched canvas over centuries. Now commonly used by restorers relining paintings, these panels were first developed for the sign and architectural industry- designed for outdoor fluctuations of temperature and humidity.   These are built to last.

Custom sizes available on request: email info@mako.supply for quotes.  After painting sizes above 18x24"/ 20x24" or very panoramic formats, we recommend installing simple bracing on the back of your panel to increase rigidity and stability.  Though bracing can be added before painting, this adds cost both to panel and shipping.
